One look of the Long’s Parks Castle is enough for the guests to be charmed by the ambiance of grandiose that this castle holds. It is set within private grounds and is surrounded by oak trees more than 500 years old.

Though there have been several changes to advance the living standards, care has been taken that the modern facilities such as digital electronic entry systems, twenty four hour CCTV security and the electronic gates, do not clash with the castle’s allure; the Long’s Park Castle still has some of its original features-the thick stone walls and beamed ceilings, leaded and mullioned windows and some remarkable fireplaces.

You enter the house through the lobby and to the small study. There are spiral staircases that lead to the Rapunzel tower which houses a comfy bedroom which is adored by children. The other bedrooms are on the first floor through the Great Hall. The centre or the heart of this grand castle is the grand dining room has a beautiful long table that can accommodate up to 20 guests together. An atrium is located towards the rear which gives the diners a view of the court yard. The lunch has the TV and the entertainment system of the house and leather sofas ideal for a gathering. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, utensils and all the modern facilities such as a dishwasher.

The castle’s grounds are as beautiful as the rest of the house and house within it the original ground keeper’s cottage as well as a Duck Lake and the Summer House beyond the lake. Within walking distance is a large fishing lake and the castle is ideally situated off 350 for Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Longleat House.
